First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health & Wellness Partners.
Program Coordinator
The interview was conducted on Zoom and felt casual but very informative. I spoke with two senior employees who have been with the company for many years, which suggests good employee retention. They asked several questions about the role and also a few personal questions that showed they were genuinely interested in their employees.
- Could I handle a fast-paced, high-volume work environment?
Program Director
I met with my future coworkers first, which was helpful to get a sense of the job. After the hiring manager, I met with the partners to make sure I'd be a good cultural fit.
- How have you handled difficult clients in the past?
Employee
The interview process was pretty good overall. My time with the company was mostly good until last year (2024). If you're applying now, you should definitely ask everyone interviewing you about how many hours a week you'd be expected to work. Find out if they'll expect you to do overtime on weeknights, weekends, and holidays. I haven't always gotten paid for overtime, but maybe things are different for you now. Think realistically about whether you have the physical and mental energy for this. The company hasn't been clear about this on their job postings online, so it's important to ask directly.
- Could you elaborate on your previous experience, and specifically, how committed are you to meeting client needs?
- Given that in our industry, clients expect us to be available 24/7, how do you feel about that expectation?
Business Analyst
The interview process was quick and the communication upfront was great. The issue I have is the post-interview communication. I had 4 interviews for this position up to the CEO, and I had followed up after with a thank you. Over a month after the interviews, I followed up again with HR to ask for an update. I was then sent a thoughtless email saying "We are no longer recruiting for this role, but there is a Business Analyst role available - feel free to apply!". Why would I waste additional time and energy into a company like this? Why would I need to re-apply and re-interview for the same role without the Sr. title?
