First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health Plans.
Account Manager
I applied online through theHPI website. A recruiter reached out first and asked some initial questions. If it seemed like a good match, they referred me to the hiring manager. After talking with the hiring manager, I was then sent to the department director. They asked questions about my experience too.
- Can you describe your background?
Information Technology
I talked with the administrators, CISO, and CIO. It was a very easy going and relaxed environment. The trickiest part was doing a remote interview because it was during the pandemic. An external party scheduled the interview, and one of the interviews wasn't able to be done on time because the scheduler didn't start the meeting.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Could you tell us about your past experience?
Data Analyst
The process was pretty unprofessional. I took time off work for an interview, and then the interviewer emailed to cancel like a minute before. Usually, if an applicant did that, they'd get blacklisted. They rescheduled, and the interview was super rushed, and my questions were barely answered. They did reach out weeks later about another interview, but I had already accepted a job elsewhere by then.
- What management style do you find most effective for your work?
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview with the recruiter and it was a good experience. They were really nice and friendly, and I felt comfortable throughout. The interview seemed fair. I don't have much more to say about it, just filling the space.
- Could you tell me about your previous job experience?
