First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health Partners Plans.
Human Resources Generalist
I had a good time meeting the team. They were really nice, helpful, and approachable. The team made the interview process feel really easy. They explained what they needed in detail to make sure my skills were a good fit for what they were looking for.
- Can you tell me about how you began your career in HR?
Analyst
Arrived and had to fill out a paper job application after already applying online. Interviews were every 30 minutes on the dot. Met with a total of 7 people. One of the directors was cursing during the interview. Was never given the roster prior to the interview and was informed during the interview that I was being interviewed for more than one role. Barely got a chance to ask questions because every time I started to, it was time to switch to a new interviewer, and it was a rather chaotic experience. Overall felt that the HR department did not give me adequate information for this interview.
- Can you talk about your resume and experience?
- Can you tell me about yourself and your experience?
Proofreader and Copyeditor
There were three rounds of interviews: a phone interview, an in-person interview with team members, and an in-person interview with the VP of communications and marketing manager. The phone interview was a screening for qualified individuals, and I was interviewed by the supervisor of communications. The questions were about my previous role and my skill set. The second round was with team members who were nice and wanted to know about my previous role and told me more about the job. The third round was for higher-ups to see if they liked me and if I fit the company culture.
- Can you tell me about your previous role?
- How did you measure the success of your day?
- What is your familiarity with Acrobat?
Director
The interview process had 3 separate skype interviews that took place over a 4-5 week period. These interviews were with Human Resources, my direct supervisor, and the department supervisor, and then the CEO. The people interviewing me were really nice and I didn't feel intimidated at all.
- Complete an online personality assessment and logic problems.
- Tell me about a time you managed a project to improve a process.
