First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Health Choice One.
Sales Representative
I initially talked to them on the phone after we emailed back and forth to pick a time. The first interview was on the phone. They said they'd let me know, but I never heard back so I guess they weren't interested.
- What's your experience?
Sales Agent
It's actually pretty simple, it's just a face-to-face interview where you talk about what you want to accomplish and how Health Choice One can help you accomplish your goals.
- What are your 5-year goals?
Call Center Sales Agent
First, there's a company presentation with a group of people vying for the same position. Everyone introduces themselves with their name and one personal fact. Afterward, you take a tour of the call room. Finally, you have a one-on-one interview with a manager, though the one I met was a bit awkward.
- If you were in an elevator with someone else and traveling many stories, how would you spark their interest and get permission to follow up with them later, given your sales role?
Sales Agent
It was a group interview that included a sales presentation designed to attract candidates with promises of high earnings for everyone. They asked a couple of very basic questions. There was supposed to be a 6-10 week training period, and a requirement to obtain an insurance license. They gave a general overview of the company but omitted key details about the variable criteria for employee retention and turnover. Training lasted only one day, so be prepared.
- Are you okay with asking people for money
