Operations Associate
Applied online and heard back about a week later about an activity that took an hour. After completing it, I was asked to interview with the head of customer experience. That interview went so well that I received an email less than 3 hours later scheduling my final interview for the following week. I spoke with an associate on the team, which went great, and then with the team manager. I thought both went really well. The recruiter said I'd hear back by the end of the week. I followed up with both interviewers via email but didn't hear back. I also followed up with the recruiter during the week and still no response. Then, on Sunday morning, I got an automated rejection email. It was surprising given the company's values, especially since they missed their communication timeline and sent an automated rejection on a Sunday morning after weeks of interviewing. I asked for feedback but didn't receive any.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deliver unfavorable news to someone?
Operations Associate
The interview process was quick and effective. Recruiters were great to interact with and the timeline was fast considering the number of steps. It included a screening call (15 min), an initial interview with a team member (30 min), and a homework assignment with two role-related scenarios (2hr). Following that was a homework presentation and Q&A with a team member, the hiring manager, and an additional XFN partner (45 min). Then, there was a hiring manager interview with time for role questions (30 min), a culture interview with the greater team manager (30 min), and an analytic interview with an XFN partner (30 min). A reference check was conducted before a live offer was extended.
- Can you discuss the company's values and provide an example of one strength and one weakness you possess, with supporting evidence for each?
Operations Associate
The interview process flowed smoothly with distinct stages. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and said great things about the job and the company. It was a good experience overall.
- When faced with multiple tasks and projects, what's your strategy for deciding what to do first?
