First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Headstrong.
Software Engineer
First, you'll chat with a recruiter or consultant. Then, it's on to technical interviews, a manager round, and finally HR. This covers everything from your technical skills to how well you communicate and your past work. They'll really dig into your knowledge of financial apps and any specific tools or tech you're good with. The manager round is a close chat, maybe with your direct manager, where they might throw some curveball questions. It's a good experience overall. Make sure to clear up all the details about your perks, salary increase, job title, your responsibilities, and company rules before you accept.

Senior Software Engineer
It started with a 45-minute phone call, then two 60-minute in-person technical interviews. These technical interviews were pretty deep, covering programming, design patterns, databases, shell scripting, and more. After that, there was a final round with a manager or HR. Finally, we went through negotiations and a background check.
