Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Headout.
Growth Manager
It was a 4 round process. Started with an HR screening, then a first round, followed by a case study, then an interview about the case study, and finally a meeting with the founders. The case study part was really about diving deep into your approach and how you'd adapt it based on new info.
- Tell me about your approach to the case study and the reasoning behind it.
Business Growth Manager
The first step was a 45-minute introductory meeting with the recruitment team in India. It was more in-depth than a typical HR interview, so be prepared to discuss your CV projects thoroughly. Next, there was a time-consuming case study, which took about a week to complete. After that, I had a 1-hour meeting with the Strategy Growth Manager to discuss the case study and my previous work. Finally, there was a 1.5-hour meeting with the General Manager.
- Can you elaborate on the growth levers pertinent to this position?
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses, and how they might impact your performance in this role?
- What strategies would you employ to boost ROAS?
Marketing Manager
It was absolutely horrible. I went for the second round, which was scheduled for a week later. But just 20 minutes before the interview, they told me they had already selected someone and cancelled it. This was definitely one of the worst interview experiences I've had in my 10-year career.
- Can you describe your experience?
- What is your knowledge of various tools?
- Could you share some of your case studies?
