Manager
I had an online interview with someone at my level. The questions were practical but pretty challenging. I think I could have prepared better, but it was a valuable learning experience.
- Can you share your career journey with us?
Language Manager
The hiring process was super efficient: first a case study, then a chat with the team, and finally a meeting with the manager. They were very professional and asked about the company and my personal motivation. No unnecessary stuff, and they responded really quickly.
- What are the main difficulties encountered in app localization?
- Could you elaborate on the primary shortcomings of machine translation?
- What are your perspectives on the company?
Head of Partnerships
The interview process kicked off with an initial call with the VP Europe for a performance marketing role, followed by a multiple-choice test. Then, I had a chat with the VP of Marketing & Operations. The next step was a case study that I had to prepare in advance and then present it to the VP of Marketing & Ops & CEO. It's worth noting that a recruiter or HR was not involved at any point. It would have been a much better experience if a professional recruiter was handling things, but the recruitment for the European positions is managed by the c-level management and the founders themselves. The process felt fast initially, but getting feedback turned out to be slow. After 5 weeks from the final interview with the CEO (which was step 5), and with several missed feedback deadlines, I decided to withdraw my applications. Interestingly, they reached out a week after I withdrew with an offer for a similar position. I declined it though, due to trust issues.
- Can you elaborate on general questions about partner types?
- Tell me about the competition.
- What are the company's USPs?
