Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HDFC Bank.
Sales
The interview process was terrible—extremely slow responses, unnecessary delays, and evident bias. It lacked efficiency, professionalism, and fairness, making the experience frustrating and disappointing. Clear communication, faster decision-making, and an unbiased approach are essential improvements. The entire process needs better management to ensure a smoother and more transparent experience.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself?
Sales
There's an aptitude test and an HR round. After those are done, you'll have an interview with the cluster manager. It's a somewhat lengthy process, but the interviewers are very friendly and professional. Overall, it was a nice experience.
- What is your understanding of HDFC?
Sales Representative
It was a 3 round process. Started with an online test covering reasoning, English, and aptitude. Then there was a group discussion on the topic #metoo. This was followed by a personal interview. Waited 3 days for the result but wasn't selected. The overall experience was good, especially the group panel interview. All the best, speak clearly and be formal.
