I had a standard interview with HR, and it was pretty straightforward. We discussed my salary expectations and past work experience. However, the salary offered wasn't quite what I was hoping for, so I decided not to move forward.

I had my phone interview with the HR recruiter. Right from the start, she was rude and unprofessional. She treated my job requirements like demands, which was not cool. HR needs to improve how they talk to and interact with candidates.

It started with a phone interview, followed by a 2-3 hour in-person interview. This in-person part involved meeting with several different groups of people, including a lead scientist and other team members. I had interviews with about 2-3 groups, each lasting 30 minutes. After that, I had a 30-minute one-on-one interview with either the director or associate director of the department. Then there was a background check and an offer was made.
