Leave of Absence Specialist
application response, no interview. I want to give this company a public shoutout for their hiring process. Did I get the job? No. However, not only did I get a positive and personal rejection; the recruiter was kind enough to respond on what exactly they were looking for and even encouraged me further on where to apply. In this age of algorithms, you don't get to hear specific feedback often and I so appreciate it. If you are an employer looking to utilize this company, or an employee lucky enough to get a position here, this is a huge green flag for HCM Unlocked.

Implementation Consultant
I had an initial informal screening call with the recruiter, then a more formal, longer call with the same recruiter the next day, and then a formal interview with the hiring manager the day after that. So, 3 interviews in 3 days. They said I'd hear back within a few days, as they really wanted to fill the position. But I never heard back from anyone, which was pretty disappointing after what I thought were great conversations.
- Can you describe a challenging project you worked on, detailing the difficulties encountered, your strategies for overcoming them, and the final result?
Payroll Manager
I interviewed about two months ago for what would have been my first management role, even though I've been in payroll for a long time. The interview itself was pretty standard. I got a rejection email the very next day saying I should apply for other roles, which I took to mean they didn't think I was management material. I even applied for some lower-level jobs I was definitely qualified for, but got rejected from those too. Now, all those positions are listed again, making me think maybe I lucked out since they apparently can't keep payroll staff around for more than two months.
- What can you tell me about our company and what we do?
HR Specialist
The first interview was with the recruiter and it was great. She was easy to talk to, upbeat, and did a good job of showing the company in a positive light. The second interview with the hiring managers was not a good experience. They weren't welcoming and didn't smile. The director seemed disengaged and didn't speak much. The manager who asked questions was very robotic and didn't allow for much conversation, asking the next question as soon as I answered the previous one. They also mentioned that the role doesn't have a defined training method. I'm honestly glad I didn't get an offer.
- How do you prioritize tasks?
