Graduate Trainee
The interview process consists of 4 rounds. First, an online Aptitude Assessment Round on campus with logical, analytical, critical thinking, and math questions. Second, an online Communication Assessment Round on campus with listening, speaking, memory, and typing sections. Finally, there's a Technical Interview and an HR Interview.
- What made you choose HCL?
Graduate Trainee
So the HCL interview process for 2025 is usually like this: first, there's an online test to check your aptitude, then a group discussion, followed by a technical interview, and finally an HR interview. The online test is where they see if you've got the math, logic, and verbal skills, and for tech roles, maybe some computer basics and coding stuff too. In the group discussion, you'll chat with others about something, and they're looking at how you solve problems, work with people, and communicate. The technical interview is all about what you know in your field, like programming, data structures, algorithms, and for IT, maybe AI or IoT. If you've worked before, they might ask about your resume and projects. The last part is the HR interview, which is more about you and the company - like why you want to work here, your goals, and if you'd fit in.
- Can you introduce yourself and answer some technical questions?
- Can you answer technical questions?
Graduate Trainee Engineer
You'll start by introducing yourself – keep it short, focusing on your education, skills, and any projects you've worked on. Then, we'll ask 'Why HCL?', so be ready to talk about our learning culture, opportunities for growth, and company values. Finally, we'll discuss your strengths and weaknesses, but be honest and strategic, and show us how you're working on improving.
- Can you introduce yourself, focusing on your education, skills, and projects?
- What are your reasons for wanting to join HCL, considering our learning culture, growth opportunities, and values?
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses, and explain how you are working on improving them?
