The first round was virtual and I got shortlisted. They asked me to come to the office for the second round and the HR round. When I got to the office, there wasn't much of a plan. They just took resumes and said the panel members weren't available, so we had to wait for 2-3 hours. They then offered free lunch. After lunch, they said there would be an assessment, then a second technical round, a VP round, and an HR round. After a long wait, they gave an assessment with mostly irrelevant questions. Then they conducted interviews after some discussions. After that, there was a technical and manager round. Then they said another manager was interested and wanted to conduct a technical and manager round too. After that round, they said there would be an HR round. But then they came back and said they weren't moving forward and I could leave. It was almost 8 PM. It felt like they were just playing games.

I went through 3 rounds of technical interviews, and one of them was a system design test. The interviews were good and involved in-depth discussions about OOPS, programming, and scenario-based questions. Overall, it was a great experience.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a recruiter screen and Round 1, which went well. However, Round 2 was problematic. The interviewer seemed like they were doing me a favor and changed the interview agenda on the spot, stating they don't usually conduct these types of interviews. There was a lack of consideration for the candidate's mindset. The interviewer also badmouthed their former employer and attempted to negotiate my level and role down from what the recruiter had initially discussed. I sensed bias, and there were also too many reschedules. To make matters worse, sometimes the expected interviewer was different until the very last minute when the video call started, and it was someone else entirely.
