Human Resources
The recruitment process here was really impersonal. All communication happens via email, e-forms, and remote HR agents. Trying to get specific role details or a post-interview update is tough – emails and voicemails often go unanswered. My interview started late in a small office, and I then met with 6 employees across 3 separate interviews, two of which also started late. They rushed through, saying they had other meetings that were more important. It felt hurried, like I was an inconvenience. The interviews were conversational but used standard questions. I only had time to ask one question, which was a bummer since I had more for them. I followed up with thank you notes to the recruiter (who I never spoke to directly) and the hiring manager, but got no response. Later, I received an automated email saying I wasn't selected, which felt cold. It seems like they view candidates and employees as just numbers. The only good parts were a nice chat with the CEO, who seemed great, and getting my travel costs reimbursed quickly.
- Can you describe a project where you improved employee performance or morale?
Registered Nurse
I applied on-line and then they emailed me asking to do a video interview. Once I logged into their video interview module, I had 72 hours to finish and submit. You get to see your interview questions beforehand and can re-record your answers until you feel good about them. About 3 days after submitting, a recruiter called me for a follow-up. There were probably 7 to 10 questions in total, but I could see them all in advance. I'm not sure if I'll get a job offer but I appreciated their interview process and how quickly they followed up.
- Why did you decide to go into nursing?
- What aspects of this hospital interest you for your work?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Pharmacist
It was a relaxed interview process, very go-with-the-flow. Clinical knowledge is important. They were respectful and had a unique approach to interviews, including case studies, behavioral questions, chart reviews, patient follow-up scenarios, and standard PharmD level questions. The environment was nice. Don't get intimidated, you've got this!
- Can you tell me about your clinical knowledge?
- We'll be asking some behavioral questions.
- We'll be working through some case studies.
Scientist
The interview process was smart and concise. It was a new and interesting experience where I learned a lot, which made me want to know more and join the team to gain knowledge. Although it's a difficult path, it's worth trying my best. Thank you.
- Why are you so pretty?
- Can you share the tips with me?
