I got an email from HR to schedule an interview at their Coral Gables office. When I got there, the manager I was supposed to meet seemed to have forgotten about me. We went to a conference room, and she asked me some questions, which I think I answered really well. Then, she left for a bit, and another manager from a different department came in. He was pretty intense, firing questions at me really fast and not letting me finish my answers before moving on. He even tried to intimidate me a bit, but I handled it well and stayed calm. He admitted he was impressed by my quick thinking and composure, saying he'd hire me on the spot if he could. This part was tough because I wasn't expecting such an aggressive approach. My advice is to stay confident and assertive. I always go into interviews thinking I'm the best candidate. The first manager came back, and we chatted for a few more minutes, which went smoothly. Afterward, I interviewed with the VP. It was a pretty standard interview, and the questions were similar to what I'd already been asked. I answered everything fine, but when she asked about my salary expectations, my number seemed to surprise her. I sent a thank you email after the interview. About a week later, I emailed HR for an update, but she had already been curt in previous emails and didn't respond.

I had two phone interviews, mostly behavioral questions. Two Venezuelan women interviewed me, very nice. I am fluent in Spanish and ended up speaking Spanglish in the second interview. They asked me the typical "Tell me about yourself" and "Why are you interested in HBO LAG." They were also interested in what department I would like to intern in, they also wanted to make sure I had a place to stay in Miami and a Social Security number. I talked about my past experiences, they did not ask for questions at the end. The interview did not last more than 20 minutes.

The hiring process kicked off pretty fast, with them reaching out for an interview just a week after I sent in my application. They were really organized and methodical in the initial screening, focusing on getting to know me as a person while also getting a sense of my professional skills. My first few screening interviews were one-on-one, with two different people, but not at the same time. Nothing too unexpected, just standard interview questions.

Behavioral Technical Case

It was a pretty straightforward process with two interviews planned, one with the director and another with the VP of the department. They usually do these on the same day, but the VP wasn't available so I first met with the director and then they called me back later for the next round.
