The interview process was smooth and useful. They asked me to describe my portfolio, introduce myself, talk about my design experience with hospitality and hotels, what software I use, and what I want to learn from the job. However, I didn't have enough hotel design experience for the role.

I was brought into a meeting room for a one-on-one interview. The process felt more like a comfortable and informal conversation where we discussed our views on the practice. I actually gained a lot of insights from the conversation, which lasted about 30 minutes. It was my first job interview ever, and while it was an okay experience, I didn't get the position. I did hear that the interviewer quit not long after lol.

It was a quick, 15-minute interview. They didn't ask much about my portfolio, mostly discussing my background (soft and hard skills). They also shared information about their company and work environment. No tough questions were asked.

First, I had to present my portfolio and talk about my past experiences. This chat was with the team leader I would have reported to. We talked about salary expectations, and they laid out the job duties. After that, I met with the CEO to go over my background and discuss current projects.
