First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hazel Health.
Pediatric Therapist
I did the first screening and then had a second interview that went for almost two hours. The process was straightforward and the employees were approachable. It seemed like a good place to work. The second interview ended with the expectation of an offer within the week, but then HR emailed me to say they had merged and were pausing hiring.
- Can you tell me about a challenging case you handled and your approach to managing it?
Customer Success Manager
First, I had a screener call with the recruiter. Then, the Hiring Manager Interview, which was 45 minutes. It was pretty straightforward, mostly about getting to know me, my experience, and they gave me a review of the role. After that, there was a Panel Interview with team members, also 45 minutes. We went over different scenarios to see how I'd align with the role, looking at my critical thinking and strategy.
- For a portfolio of over 250 school sites, what strategies would you employ to scale your engagement efforts?
Sales Development Representative
I connected with the hiring manager on LinkedIn. We had a good talk and she suggested I reach out to the recruiters at Hazel Health. I sent my resume over and scheduled interviews with the recruiter and then the hiring manager. After the interviews, they ghosted me. As usual, companies that do this give you a bunch of ridiculous excuses because they don't want to own up to treating candidates this way. I can see now why their Glassdoor rating is 3.0. I didn't get an offer, and honestly, I'm glad.
- What makes you want to join Hazel Health?
Implementation Specialist
The interview process was initially described to be 4 parts-the phone screener, an interview with a manager, a panel interview with 2 members of the implementation team, and a final interview where you're given a case study (in advance). I was told the process would take about a month for all four stages. The first 2 interviews were fine, they were your typical phone and manager screener-explain your background, how would does your experience support the role. The third interview was with 2 members of the team, who asked only slightly different questions than were asked during the first two rounds. After the third round of interviews, and nearly 3 weeks, I was told in a blanket e-mail that I wasn't selected for the role. When I asked for feedback, I was told they don't give feedback to individual candidates.
- Can you describe a conflict you experienced and how you resolved it?
- Tell me about a training program you developed and its impact.
