I got this interview after meeting a manager at a cybersecurity meetup. I also met John, the CISO. It took over a month from when I sent my resume to have the interview. Two weeks after that, I emailed HR for an update, and they said there were no updates on the position. I'm still waiting for interview 2. Some people have mentioned that the process can take a really long time, so I'm still waiting but obviously applying elsewhere too.

I got an unsolicited email from this company, which I'd never heard of. I'm not sure how they got my contact info, as I've never applied to them, though I am registered with other document review companies. The online application was long and detailed. I was offered a project starting at noon today, just hours after receiving the email. I'm skeptical about their legitimacy, and their website isn't very informative.
