Paid Media Manager
The interview process was great. Had an initial call to get some background and make sure I was a good fit for the agency. From there I had 2 additional interviews and a "task" that included creating a mock marketing plan, and answering a few additional questions.
- Describe your communication styles and how you would handle specific client communication scenarios.
Paid Media Manager
Three-part interview process. First, an hour-long chat with HR. Second, an assessment that felt like free labor, involving auditing a large client account and other tasks, supposedly taking 2-3 hours but realistically a full workday. This is an outrageous ask and abuse of worker rights. Third, a discussion with a team lead and possibly the CEO. This whole process was a complete waste of time with a disingenuous company.
- Could you audit this client account using the guide, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to boost ROI, covering segmentation, keywords, budget, competitor analysis, CPA trends, and growth ideas?
- In your own words, please describe the business model of XXXXX.
- What keywords would you recommend targeting, aiming for 25-50 options?
Paid Media Manager
They had to reschedule our meeting twice. The first time, with only a few hours' notice, I was emailed as I arrived at our scheduled Google meet. I was willing to be patient because my interviewer was dealing with COVID. We rescheduled for our third attempt, and I arrived at the meet to wait 15 minutes for her to fail to appear. There is no reason this time. There is no email following either. The way a company recruits talent reflects how it operates. Because I had to take time away to have this conversation, I felt as if my time was not valued by them.
