Customer Support Representative
I spent 5 days of my time over the course of four weeks going through the interview process with Hatch, only to receive a rejection at the end despite being a strong fit for the position. It felt like they weren’t truly interested from the start, which made the entire experience frustrating and a huge waste of time.
- Can you share an example of a time when...?
Customer Support Representative
The initial screening call was good, I felt a real connection with the screener. However, the CX manager who led the main interview seemed disengaged, like they were reading from a script or multitasking. The application process was very demanding, requiring three mock emails and a prioritization task involving several customer inquiries. This was for a role paying around $20/hr. The manager did mention they have constant high-volume, so it might have been a lucky escape.
- Can you share an experience where you exceeded expectations for a customer?
- Describe a situation where you had to adapt to change at work.
Customer Support Representative
I submitted my application online via Hatch, and about a week later, Lisa, a recruiter at Hatch, reached out to schedule a phone interview with me. The call with Lisa was really great; she was so friendly and made me feel totally comfortable, almost like we were just chatting as friends rather than in an interview. It was a really pleasant experience, and she was super engaged when I talked about my previous jobs. We even shared a few laughs. I truly think Lisa is an exceptional recruiter because she was wonderful throughout the entire process. She stayed in touch, explained what to expect next, and was happy to answer all my questions. Her kindness and warmth were really appreciated. Big thanks to Lisa and Hatch!
