Consultant
It was a pleasant conversation where a lot of information was shared about the company and what it's like to work there. Some questions were asked, but most of the conversation was driven by them. Communication with the company was slow.
- What's important to you in your first job?
Consultant
So, it went pretty well overall, but the team leads said that not knowing Dutch wouldn't be a problem and I could manage without it. However, the hiring manager rejected me because of my Dutch skills. Later, I got a generic email saying my profile wasn't strong enough. I feel the process could have been more upfront about the Dutch requirement, and honestly, the recruitment team's vibe is pretty different from the actual project team's ethics. They don't seem to be on the same page.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What makes you a good fit for this role?
- What relevant experience did you have before pursuing your master's degree?
Consultant
After submitting my application online, I received a call a few weeks later asking if I was interested in a different role. We scheduled a meeting for about 1.5 months out. It started with a get-to-know-you chat, and there was supposed to be a follow-up, but after chasing them 3 times, it never happened. No feedback, no response at all, except a promise to get back to my email. Shameful.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- Can you give an example of a project where you excelled?
- What skills would you want to use for this role?
