I applied and got a call from a recruiter who found my profile online for a ReactJs developer role. The interview process took one day for one round, and I never heard back whether I was rejected or selected for the next stage. During the interview, I went to the company's office. One person interviewed me, and it was clear they hadn't prepared and didn't know much about the role. They didn't introduce themselves. They asked for my resume, and I gave them a copy. Then they started reading my resume on the spot. They asked me to introduce myself and talk about my projects and experience. Even though we discussed the job being for React JS, the interviewer started asking questions about Angular 2+. They asked about build files in Angular and no questions about JS/advanced JS/HTML/CSS/React JS/DS. When I mentioned my preference for React JS, they asked about the difference between React and Angular and spent 20-25 minutes on it. It felt like they were showing off and wanted to hear that Angular is better than React. Towards the end, they gave a JS array question, and I didn't understand if they wanted code or a formula. I asked three times what they wanted. They expected a coding round, which hadn't happened, suggesting they weren't aware of the interview process. After the interview, someone told me they'd schedule the next round, but I never received any communication, which felt unprofessional. My suggestion is to ensure proper interviewers and processes to avoid wasting candidates' time.

My interview was supposed to start at 9 AM, but the interviewer wasn't there when I arrived. The HR finally showed up around 10:15 AM, and the first round, a technical one focusing on ReactJS and basic JS, kicked off. After a 30-minute wait, the second round started, which was about DS and Algorithms. I nailed all the questions in that round and moved on to the third. Another 30-minute wait ensued before the third round, a fitment round, which also went well. Afterwards, the HR informed me that my feedback was positive and we could discuss salary over a call. I agreed and left for the day. Unfortunately, the HR never got back to me, even after I emailed. It was really unprofessional; I spent my whole day on this interview, and they couldn't even be bothered to reply.

Good to get... It was a smooth process with a good interview. The questions were hard, requiring thinking and coding. It involved multiple rounds and a long duration online interview. You should have the right mindset and self-awareness. Negotiations were easy and straight forward.
