Product Designer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I met with the Design Director & VP as well as the Marketing VP. I hounded HR each week for an update since I was told in the interviews of each team member that this position needed to be filled quickly. My persistence paid off.
- What product or brand innovation would you be most excited to work on?
Product Designer
I applied online and a co-op I knew there put in a recommendation for me. Then I was emailed to schedule a phone interview. I interviewed over the phone with my future manager. After that, I got an email offer. The process from start to finish was really organized and everyone was super helpful, friendly, and made me feel welcome.
- What draws you to the toy industry?
Product Designer
They don't seem really into your work, but they need people, so they'll offer you a job anyway. They might put you in a role you didn't even apply for, just to fill a slot.
- Can you tell me about your experience in retail?
