First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harwood International.
Manager
The interview process was very easy, focusing on background, experiences, and fit. However, every interviewer was late, and some didn't even show up. After three interviews, the internal recruiter ghosted me. I only found out the position was pulled through external sources. It was highly unprofessional, and I don't recommend wasting your time.
- Could you tell me what you know about Harwood?
Project Manager
I talked to HR first and it was fine. My first interview felt more casual than I thought it would be. I interviewed with someone I thought was the decision-maker, but it turned out all decisions were made by executives. The second interview was with an executive decision-maker. It was fine, but they seemed to have these big plans to build 10 hotels in Europe and the US. I thought it was unlikely they'd succeed because they seemed to be struggling to even get their first hotel started. I got an offer but turned it down when I found out they have a high turnover rate. They are still looking for someone, even 2 months later.
- What are 31 common interview questions?
Marketing Strategist
I had a phone interview with HR first. Then, I was set up for an onsite interview that lasted about an hour with three people from the marketing team. They asked me about my work history and if I had any experience that was relevant, but it wasn't a super intense interview overall.
- Could you share an example from your past work where an initiative you were involved in led to an increase in sales volume?
Assistant Property Manager
It was a really thorough and detailed interview process. I spoke with three different people over two days. They asked some tough questions, but they were all fair and made sense. It felt like they were looking for someone truly exceptional, not just filling a spot.
- How much does family mean to you?
