First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harvey Performance Company.
Helpdesk Specialist
I talked with two interviewers for over an hour. It was a nice and relaxed conversation. I felt like the company cares about its employees and a good work environment.
- Are you familiar with remote desktop software?
Test
The first interview was a phone screen where we talked about the job and my background, and the company. After that, I went onsite and met with 6 people. We mostly just chatted about the role and what it involves. It was a pretty relaxed interview, not many tough questions, mostly just to give me a sense of what to expect and what the job is. A week later, I went back for another in-person interview where I met with some more senior folks and they asked me some standard interview questions. It was a good experience overall.
- Could you tell me about three of your strengths and weaknesses?
Engineer
The interview process included an initial phone screening followed by an in-person interview. The interviewers were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. It felt like they had a candidate in mind and were primarily assessing personality fit. However, they were firm on their salary offer, which was below market rate for a new graduate engineer.
- Considering two balls rolling down different paths from the same starting height to the same ending height, which ball will finish first?
Sales Trainee
This job involves working in every department at Harvey Performance. The screening was very thorough. I had to meet with 6 different people (2 at a time) from various departments so they could all give feedback on my skills and if I'd fit the job and company. The whole thing took 2 hours, which I knew beforehand.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with a customer complaint?
