Rubber
Good to interview with. Clear expectations of what needs to be done, helpful team, everyone friendly. Everyone is easy to work with, clean space and good benefits. Would recommend!
- Can you tell me about your experience in this field?
Server
It was pretty straightforward, but they did ask specific questions about my food and wine knowledge. I was asked the difference between old and new world wines and what I would ask if a customer ordered a martini.
- What distinguishes old world wines from new world wines?
- If a customer ordered a martini, what questions would you pose?
Bartender
The interview itself was pretty standard. However, the formal training part was incredibly draining and made me super anxious. They watched my every move super closely, like how much lemon I muddled for a bourbon cocktail. They're so uptight about everything that it actually hurts the experience of being a bartender and the drinks themselves.
- Can you discuss your previous experience?
- What are your future career aspirations?
Hostess
The interview process was super quick and easy. They just asked some really basic questions. Honestly, it felt like they'd hire anyone, lol. You just need to know if you have experience and if you can be friendly. They also gave a quick rundown of the restaurant. It was all pretty standard.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What's your availability like?
- What kind of hours are you looking for?
