Recruiting Assistant
I saw an ad on Craigslist for this job in January 2014 and sent my resume. A recruiter emailed me back with a few questions to help them figure out who to talk to first. I answered them, and the next day I got an invite for a conference call with a manager, with two time options. I picked the 5 p.m. slot. At 4:55, I called the number, and at 5:00, the presenter started talking. I thought it was live at first, but then realized it was a recording. I listened anyway, and I was still interested. During the call, they really pushed buying the LegalShield plan for $35.99 a month and offered an extra commission if you did. They said it wasn't required, but it seemed like it was. The manager said that sales agents we'd recruit are way more likely to join if their recruiter had the plan, so I signed up. I told the recruiter I was still interested and sent in the paperwork. But then I did some research on LegalShield and started having doubts. The next day, I told the recruiter I changed my mind about paying monthly and realized it would probably disqualify me. She didn't deny it and asked why. I explained I didn't really need a legal plan, thanked her, and that was it. It's a bummer because I wanted to look into the job more without having to pay that monthly fee.

Recruiting Assistant
I applied for this job I saw on Craigslist back in March 2014. They emailed me some questions to help them sort through applicants, and I sent back my answers. They said they're getting a lot of emails and resumes, so they want to figure out who to talk to first. The questions were just basic stuff to help them prioritize. I'm still in the early stages, and I'm trying to figure out if this is a real job or one of those scams where you have to pay to play.

Agent Management
The interview process was really thorough and professional. The interviewer was genuine and personable, knowledgeable, and transparent. They seemed to relate to me and were interested in whether I would be a good fit for the company and if I could set and keep my own commitments in an environment like that. They gave good background info on the company and its business model.
- What is it that motivates you?
Account Manager
I sent my resume for the sales role and heard back from a trainer who asked me about my presentation skills and gave me his number. After I replied, I got an invite to a conference call where they discussed the products and the job. Following that, I asked the trainer for a final 30-minute phone interview. I got hired within a few days.
