First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harvard Maintenance.
Administrative Assistant
I got a quick call first for screening, then they set up an in-person interview at their Chicago HQ. It was a bit weird though, the recruiter barely asked me anything and then basically turned it around so I was asking her questions. I only had like 3-4 questions left since she already covered most of it in the prescreening. The whole interview felt awkward, like they already had their person picked out but just wanted to waste my time.
- What makes you interested in working for this company?
- Can you describe your customer service experience?
- Are there any limitations on your availability?
Maintenance Worker
It was pretty simple. They ask the basic questions needed to do the job. If you're approved, they'll call you and HR will email you to complete the rest of your account setup.
- Have you previously cleaned for any companies?
Executive Assistant
Ghosted after 3 interviews. Difficult to get in touch with recruiter, unable to get any feedback or even a reply sometimes and eventually ghosted after 3rd interview with no explanation. For a company that says they put employees first I am highly doubtful as they do not even show respect to candidates. Tsk tsk tsk
- How would you rearrange a calendar when you don't know anything about the scheduled events?
Office Assistant
Great experience. The interviewer was knowledgeable and pleasant. They clearly outlined the position and its requirements. It was evident they enjoyed their job and believed in the company's mission. The team appeared friendly and supportive. Overall, it was a positive interview experience.
