The whole thing was way easier than I figured it would be. I got a call from someone in the department, and then I met with her a few days later. It was super quick, like 15 minutes, just talking about me and the job. Then she set up another meeting with the hiring manager, and I saw him a few days after that. He asked more stuff, but it was still pretty general. They called me a few days later to offer me the position, and I got the written offer the next day. Everyone was really nice and easy to talk to. The whole process from when they first reached out to me getting the offer took about 10 days.

- I really blanked on a super basic question that I should've known right away, even though it was easy and I should've seen it coming. I can't remember what it was now, but it was pretty straightforward.

Applied online through Harvard's job site and was contacted via e-mail to schedule a phone interview. A few days after a 30-minute phone interview, I was invited to go into their offices for a 2-hour interview with people I would be working for and with. It turned out to be four 30-minute interviews, each with different people. After a few weeks I was informed that they would not be proceeding with my application. Before the interview, I checked HBS' web site and they have a very helpful section that details exactly what the interview process is like and what to expect. Definitely hit that up before you interview.

I didn't make it past the first round, which was pretty intense. Lots of unique behavioral interview questions. Definitely be well prepared with many different scenarios to answer a variety of questions.
