First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hartz Mountain.
QA Manager
The interview process involved a phone screen followed by three interviews. Two of these interviews were conducted virtually, while one took place in person and included a tour of the facility. The initial interview was a panel format, the second was with the quality director, and the final interview was with HR.
- Can you share your experience?
- What are your specific goals?
Brand Manager
I interviewed with the Directors, the VP for Marketing, and the President at the time. The questions were very practical, not theoretical. They were really focused on how I showed the skill sets and qualities they were looking for. I recall they needed to be sure I could "roll up my sleeves", handle ambiguity, and persevere in conflict situations.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered and managed a significant workplace conflict?
Machine Operator
After getting a call from HR, I was brought into a room with other candidates. We were asked to work together to solve some company problems related to their goals and how they do things. HR kept evaluating us while we waited. I got hired the same day.
- Tell me about a time you were a team leader.
Product Photographer
I completed the resume and cover letter requirements. Then, I had several interviews with the team. Although they were quite busy, we managed to schedule a good time for my interview and for their staff to be present.
- Can you describe your organizational skills when it comes to managing a photo library?
