First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HARTMANN GROUP.
Senior Technical Support Engineer
We started with small talk. There was a team member from the department and an HR representative present. They introduced the company, explained the reason for the advertised position, and listed and described the job responsibilities. I then explained my motivation and reason for applying. They asked me to present my CV in English. Then we said goodbye.
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
- Are you proficient in English?
Field Sales Representative
Instead of the two interviewers I was expecting, there were suddenly three. I was well-prepared, and none of the questions threw me off, but I got the feeling within the first few minutes that this wasn't going to work out. It was supposed to be the final, decisive round. At the start of the conversation, surprisingly little was revealed, and not many questions were asked. Apparently, the candidate before me had already won, and my interview was just held out of obligation. It sounded like a reputable employer, and I'm a bit sad it didn't work out.
- What is your reason for wanting to leave your current employer?
Graduate Student
The interview process was okay and not really too difficult. However, after the third interview, the waiting process became longer than expected/described during the interview itself. Plus, the feedback for the unsuccessful candidate was not good.
- What are your salary expectations?
- Are there any technical questions about the position you are applying for?
Sustainability Manager
This was a super smooth hiring process, honestly. The HR people were really helpful the whole time, makes you feel good about the company culture. First, there was a chat with HR to see if I was a good fit. Then, a technical interview came next. The third step was an on-site where I had to do a case study presentation. The person interviewing was nice and asked some really specific questions.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What difficulties do you anticipate in this role?
- We have a case study for you.
