Recruiters are looking for SQL, Excel, Python/R, and Power BI/Tableau skills. They want to see that you get business metrics and can interpret data, plus have experience cleaning, visualizing, and reporting. The goal is to check your hands-on tech skills. You'll likely face a SQL test with joins, aggregations, CTEs, etc. An Excel test might involve pivot tables and formulas. Sometimes there's a Python test for data cleaning with pandas or basic stats. There might also be case questions where you're given data and asked to find insights or calculate KPIs.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This process took over 2.5 months and involved seven interviews. The recruiter from Hyderabad was not responsive to my follow-up emails. It seems like the company is looking for cheap labor as they don't provide benefits information upfront, likely because the plans or costs are not competitive. There appears to be a lot of confusion due to ongoing mergers and acquisitions. I'd avoid this company unless you want to practice your interview skills, as they guarantee 6-7 interviews.

Confirmed questions4 questions

  • The panel interviewers were looking for the same skills and also showed curiosity to understand more about my agile experience.
  • A stakeholder interview was more to understand my agile experience etc.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved two phases: an initial video call followed by an in-person meeting. Everything seemed to go well until the second interview. I was given the strong impression that I would advance to a final interview, and the interviewer mentioned 'aligning schedules with leadership.' However, I was then ghosted for over two months, only to receive a generic email stating they had 'gone in another direction.' I reached out twice for feedback or next steps and was completely ignored. As an experienced recruiter, this experience was unacceptable. It's much better to be told directly that you're not moving forward than to be left in silence for months. What made it worse was being deliberately led to believe I was progressing to the final round. If there were doubts about my fit, I shouldn't have been given that impression. I hope the person who got the role is highly experienced, as the talent acquisition process here clearly needs significant improvement.

First, you have a phone screen with a Harsco recruiter. About one to two weeks after that, they called to set up an in-person interview, which was scheduled for about a week and a half later. I went in and interviewed with 5 people all on the same day, from around 10 AM to 3 PM. Then, I had one more follow-up phone screen with an additional person. This seemed like a lot for an admin role.
