The interview was over the phone and very relaxed. Rather than ask detailed questions, the interviewer simply wanted me to elaborate on my past experience and tell her about myself. The questions were not super specific, more about why we would want the internship. They really just wanted to know if we were going to be able to complete the tasks as a successful internship.

The interview process with Harris Media was really bad. The first interview was with a hiring manager, and she talked so much I didn't get to say much about myself. Then there was a quick 5-minute phone interview with another manager who asked basic questions. The last interview was with the CEO, Vince Harris. I drove 2 hours, waited 15 minutes, and then he asked random questions for about 5 minutes. It felt like they could have done this in one panel interview, but it took them 3 tries. Their email communication was also terrible, taking about 2 weeks to respond to my thank you emails. I was hoping to do well there because I studied politics, but I didn't get an offer, likely because I was still in college and they interviewed more qualified people. Looking back, they were very unprofessional.

It was a straightforward interview, just one round. We had a good chat about the company and my future aspirations. The interviewer was professional and asked thoughtful questions. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me and my background.

The interview was mostly about me as a person, like 75% of it. The other 25% was about my skills. They had my resume, so they already knew my skills. It was more of a chat about how I communicate.
