So first, I got an email with some initial questions. Then, I had a phone interview. After that, the HR person talked to the department I was applying to, and then I got called in for an in-person meeting. That meeting had a bunch of people from the department, an executive assistant, and the same HR person from the phone interview.

The interview process seemed kind of drawn out, with multiple different rounds. The first round consisted of meeting with 2 attorneys: a partner and associate who work with the "team" searching for a lateral associate. The associate explained his experience as a lawyer - despite many different "practices", it seemed as if associates would be able to obtain a lot of substantive experience very quickly.
