I applied and heard back from the market editor pretty fast, like within a few hours. We scheduled the interview for the following week. Then, about a month later, I got a second interview and a phone call saying I got the job. It took longer than I thought it would, but it all worked out.

I applied and then got a call for an interview in New York. I heard back about my status after I followed up via email. A lot of the hiring process requires you to be proactive; they don't keep you updated or give clear timelines. The interview itself is pretty straightforward if you're motivated and have previous experience. The interview process isn't standardized – sometimes one editor interviews you, sometimes two. It really just depends.

The interview was very friendly and easy-going, and the interviewer was very understanding. The process wasn't difficult at all, and overall it was a good experience. I do wish they could have provided a bit more information about the job requirements, even though it was an internship.

They scheduled a few times to chat, but things came up and she kept changing the interview date or time (it's that type of industry so you have to be flexible). She wanted me to come meet her the next day and start ASAP, but I was still in school as my resume says.
