It was the most surprising interview I've had in my 20 years of experience. It went on for more than 3 hours, but they had it all figured out and made the most of my visit.

The first step was a phone interview with the recruiter. Right from the start, he was super pretentious. He kept putting words in my mouth, talked a lot about himself, and was clearly fishing for negative scenarios. It felt like he'd already decided not to hire me, which was obvious from the moment we started talking, so I'm not sure why he even bothered calling. I was hoping for a more professional interaction.

It was a lengthy and painful interview process. They requested two assignments: one on Facebook Ads and other on how to boost leads. Towards the end of the process, they not even had them in the file and requested me to resend them. Massive importance to culture fitting, inviting all final candidates to a group/panel tasks that was very disorganized - some of the interviewers did not even bother to pre-scan candidates CV. During any point of the interview process, they had a clear job description. All it was informed is that there were three possible positions open within the Marketing team.

So I had this phone interview first, they wanted to know about my past work and what I'm interested in. Then, I had an on-site interview where I met some people from the company and we chatted about me and what the company is aiming for.
