Embedded Engineer
The Embedded Engineer role involves a 3-stage interview process: first, an Assessment Test with MCQs on C, data structures, microcontrollers, embedded systems, and aptitude. Then, a Technical Interview covering C/Embedded C, microcontrollers (PIC, ARM), RTOS, Linux system calls, debugging tools (GDB, JTAG), and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART). Finally, an HR Interview to gauge communication skills, career aspirations, strengths/weaknesses, and salary expectations. To do well, consistently practice coding, review embedded systems, be ready to explain your projects, and hone your problem-solving abilities.

Embedded Software Engineer
The interview started with some basic concepts and then moved to hard coding questions. The first round wasn't too difficult, but the second round was challenging. The second round was a client interview focusing on problem-solving and real-time difficulties.

Embedded Software Engineer
The interview was about 1 hour long and covered my work experience and project details. We discussed the implementation of UART, SPI, i2C, CAN, and why DMA is needed. We also talked about clock signals and their requirements, APIs used for driver implementation, and C programming concepts like storage classes (static, use case, pseudo code) and basic pointer arithmetic.
