First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at HARIBO of America.
Master Data Analyst
It was a straightforward two-step interview. The first interview was basically to see if I was a good fit, and the second was with the hiring manager, who was quite formal and well-spoken. It's a shame the position itself isn't more established.
- Can you discuss your past experience, particularly within the master data field?
- What do you know about the master data domain?
Transportation Analyst
It started off pretty good. Everyone seemed very nice. I felt like the company had a lot of potential until I kept getting the "run around". I interviewed in December, I was told they wanted to bring me back for a 2nd interview but it wouldn't be until the end of February due to schedules. I followed up with Amanda in HR at the end of February and she said the 2nd person I had to interview with was then out of town. So I waited until the end of March to follow up again and Amanda told me they are still working on setting up 2nd interviews. It is now May and I never heard anything else about my second interview. I don't understand the point of lying but I guess I dodged a bullet. Future interviewees, beware!
- What is motivating your departure from your current position?
Brand Manager
I met with the hiring manager, the department lead, and the HR Director. It was a very pleasant experience. Everyone in the process was extremely professional and made me feel at ease -- which made the interviewing experience pleasant. I actually enjoyed my conversation with the HR Director and was impressed by her sincerity and professionalism. It was truly refreshing. I just interviewed 2 days ago and am waiting to hear back. I would love to work at HARIBO!
- Can you share an instance where you had to collaboratively brainstorm conflicting ideas to meet work objectives?
Analyst
It was a good interview process. They checked your communication skills, technical skills, and confidence. The rounds included an aptitude test, group discussion, technical interview, and an HR interview. The whole process took 3 days to complete, and they announced the results afterward.
- Could you introduce yourself and talk about your projects?
