The recruiter was nice, but the manager was really awkward. The job ad said "retail manager" but it was actually for "retail assistant" with a terrible salary, like 1100 euros for 32 hours a week, which I'd never take. The whole atmosphere felt wrong, like it would be a super demanding job for very little pay and no perks. They didn't hire me because I was "too expensive".
