First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Harbortouch.
Software Engineer
Applied through Craigslist. Drove over an hour to their Allentown offices (no reimbursement). Had trouble finding the correct building due to unclear instructions in the office park. Spoke with a lead developer for under 30 minutes. No technical questions were asked. The interview ended shortly after I discussed my personal projects but couldn't name more.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you tell me about your personal projects?
Customer Service Representative
I got an email to set up a phone interview. I had to watch videos and do some research on the company website and competitors' websites, then answer some questions. I'm still not sure if this is a commission only position, I should have asked that.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Is this a commission-only role?
Technical Support
I had a Skype interview where they asked me about my previous roles and my education. Then, a few days later, I had a face-to-face meeting with a manager, and they told me I got the job.
- What were your responsibilities in your previous role?
- Can you share an example of a time you successfully de-escalated a difficult situation?
Technical Support Representative
I was first contacted via email, and then we arranged an in-person meeting. The interview itself took about an hour and felt pretty casual. I spoke with someone from HR and the person who would be my direct supervisor.
- Can you describe your technical experience as listed on your resume?
