The interview process started with a phone screen by someone who doesn't actually work with the team but still screened me. It felt more like a mini-interview where they took notes to pass along to someone else who makes the decision about moving forward. Honestly, it felt like a joke of a process and not fair, especially for a company that talks about valuing equity.

I applied online and then I had a Zoom interview with the Director of Nursing. After that, there was a follow up phone call. It was a pretty easy conversation. I didn't have to visit the office until after I was hired. They asked typical nursing questions in the interview.

So after they got in touch, we set up an initial phone screen. When the scheduled time came, they were running late because they were driving back from a site and forgot about our interview. I had to call them myself after about fifteen minutes. Anyway, I passed that screen and we set up a second phone screen where they said they'd ask thinking questions. They remembered to call this time and asked a bunch of questions for about an hour. I heard back with a rejection a week or two later.

I had a phone call and a one-on-one interview with the pharmacist in charge. I also met with an HR specialist for a pre-employment screening, which was more in-depth and covered company policies, procedures, and loss prevention. It seems the per diem pharmacist hiring process is less involved than for part-time or full-time roles, with less training provided (just one day of one-on-one computer training).
