Behavioral Case

I was contacted by a technical recruiter who I had a good call with. After that, I got an email asking me to do a PM edit case. It was basically asking me to figure out user pain points and solutions, which felt like free work. I had 3 days to do it and had to document my thought process and framework. I thought I'd get to present my work, but the recruiter told me my case study didn't meet expectations. I asked for feedback but didn't hear back. Then, they asked me to interview for a different role. I had to do the same PM edit case again, but for the new role, and it had the same goal: to see how I find problems and my thinking process. I suggested using my previous case study, but they rejected me again.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The entire hiring process spanned approximately three weeks. It started with an interview with the local marketing manager, followed by a take-home case study. Next, there was an interview with the HQ manager, and the process concluded with a meet-and-greet session with the entire team. Be prepared for some challenging questions that will probe your knowledge and skills during the interviews. If you're honest and confident, you should be fine. The HR team was very efficient and friendly, and all interviews started on time and were conducted smoothly and professionally.

Coding Technical

Applied for the role and got an invitation link for a pre-screening coding test. The test had simple questions covering LeetCode Easy, general Java and Ruby, and SQL queries. After completing the assessment, I was ghosted by HR for a few weeks, so I nudged them about proceeding to the next stage. Unfortunately, HappyFresh shut down its operations in Malaysia on September 23, 2022, which is why my application wasn't processed.

Behavioral Technical

The interview experience was positive, with the interviewer creating a comfortable atmosphere. Upon arriving at the office around 2 PM, there was a 45-minute wait for the interviewer to finalize preparations before being called into the room. After completing a form, the interviewer began asking questions related to the company, my skills, and my academic background.
