The interview was fair and short, though I didn't advance to the next stage. It seems like a good company. The process was very quick, and my interviewer happened to go to USC. I tried to connect with him, but it probably came across as unprofessional.

The interview experience was good. I talked with attorneys of different levels. They seemed happy with the firm and their jobs. They looked really busy. The HR staff were also helpful and supportive.

The interview process felt pretty chill, and the team seemed cool. But then we got to talking about benefits. After they extended an offer, I asked if they were flexible on vacation time. They got back to me saying they were restructuring the department and I wasn't a good fit. The offer was taken back. Funny thing is, they hired someone else for the exact same job a few weeks later. They even mentioned that the person who previously had the role was a good negotiator.

The interviewers were very nice and respectful, treating me like a human being. They were upfront about the workplace, benefits, and what they offer. It wasn't intimidating at all; they conducted it in a way that made me feel comfortable and like I was already part of the team.
