First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hanley Wood.
Account Manager
Had a video interview with HR that went well, then a phone interview with sales management because my camera wasn't working. The first interview was good, but the second one was tough. Sales management seemed unprepared, and I didn't get answers to many of my questions. I emailed HR afterwards but never heard back. Overall, the company seemed unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend it to people in sales. The manager I would report to seems to lack field experience and likely doesn't consider feedback from the sales team.

Videographer Editor
I got an email to schedule a phone interview. I replied with a couple of time frames and dates. This happened on a Tuesday and the interview was set up for Friday of that week. I got the call from the recruiter, the phone interview lasted around 25-30 minutes. She was friendly and I thought the interview had gone well. At the end, she mentioned that the position needed to be filled by the end of September and that there were a couple more people who would be interviewing for the position. She asked me to email her again samples of my work and told me that she would give all of my information to the department director and if He/she was interested they would contact me.

Web Developer
The interview process was quite fluid, with new rounds introduced as they saw fit. So far, it included a phone interview with HR, a technical interview with the hiring manager, a coding task, and then a scheduled Skype interview with three people. The hiring manager kept rescheduling the Skype interview. When we finally agreed on a time, he decided there would be two Skype interviews instead. This dragged on for a while, so I emailed him about my situation, mentioning my keen interest and other offers to see if we could speed things up. Apparently, my email wasn't well-received, and he replied curtly, stating he couldn't match other offers and canceled the interview. I was taken aback, assuming it's normal for candidates to apply to multiple places and for companies to interview multiple people.
- A coding test was given; it seems manageable with sufficient time investment.
Editorial
I had a phone interview with HR first. Then, I was passed on to the team I'd be working with. I had two separate interviews after that. The whole thing took over a month, mostly because of bad snow days. They could have communicated a bit better.
