It was a good interview, the panel was friendly and ended up offering me the job. They asked a lot of questions about incident and crisis management, specifically how it applies in the post-Covid era. Since exercising is a big part of this role, they asked me about that quite a bit.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you tell us about your experience with incident and crisis management, especially in the context of the post-Covid environment?
  • Can you share your experiences and strategies for exercising business continuity plans?

Behavioral Case

I got a call for an interview previously. It was surprising because the in-person vibe felt cold and judgemental from the panel. The lead interviewer only gave me negative feedback while a young project participant was also there. Their DEI initiatives felt very fake and just for show. I withdrew from the ongoing process before a decision was made and never heard back for feedback. Given the community focus of the role, I expected the recruitment to be handled with more care. I felt judged and like they'd already decided before the interview ended. It seemed like a role with a lot of demands and no support.

The interview was quite formal. I spoke with the area director and a senior spatial planner for about 30 minutes. They were nice but didn't give feedback on my answers. I interviewed in August and was told I'd hear back in a week, but I never did. About two weeks later, I emailed them to ask about the status or if the job was filled, but they didn't respond.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about a challenging situation you've faced?
  • What's your part in a team setting?
