I got a call from HR in Modena about starting the recruitment process. I went through about 6 or 7 interviews with different people from Modena and the USA. Each interview was about 45 minutes long. The whole process took around 2 months. I never got any feedback. I contacted HR a few times and they always said 'We'll let you know in a couple of weeks, the process is still ongoing' but I never heard back. Really unprofessional, they should respect people's time and effort in interviews. Being unemployed doesn't mean we lose our rights.

I interviewed with the hiring manager and two senior staff engineers. The manager seemed a bit nervous, speaking very quickly. One of the senior engineers asked me some C++ questions and incorrectly stated I was wrong about a question regarding 'delete'. It turns out I was correct after looking it up later. They also asked some general problem-solving questions. The role involves working with SCRUM, focusing on sustaining and feature work, not new development. The salary range seemed to be in the low $90s. Overall, it felt like an okay place to work, but perhaps not a lot of fun, based on the vibe from the engineers.
