First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hamilton-Madison House.
Intern
The interview process involved both group and individual interviews. The group interview felt a bit competitive, with candidates aiming to impress. The individual interview was more relaxed and easygoing. The whole thing lasted about 2.5 hours, which was alright.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Case Manager
The interview process involved two rounds, with each round lasting approximately two hours. During these rounds, they asked detailed questions about my background and how I would handle potential work situations. For example, they inquired about my approach to managing difficult clients and my communication strategies with directors and colleagues. They were also keen to understand my reasons for applying for the position and what drives my desire to continue in this field.
- Do you have any negative personal habits?
Development Coordinator
Had a recruiter phone call as the first step. It wasn't super personal, mostly checking my technical skills, abilities, and experience for the role. Took about 20 minutes. They asked about my interest in the company and my background, pretty standard stuff. Felt like they were just going through a checklist, very generic.
- Which company's social media presence do you think is well-done?
Behavioral Health Clinician
I had a really good interview experience overall. The staff were friendly. The process included meeting one-on-one with the director and also a group interview with the team. They asked about my personality and professional skills, and also presented specific case scenarios.
- Demonstrate a case and engage in role play.
