Arabic Language Teacher
They talked about my Arabic language knowledge and experience, how I manage a classroom, my strengths and weaknesses, what I can add to the school, and how I respect student privacy and tailor the language learning process to their individual needs and levels.
- Could you explain how you would teach Arabic to individuals who do not speak it?
- How would you approach teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers?
Teacher
I got a call for an interview earlier this year. After that, they said I'd hear back about job opportunities soon. Then, they called me again to ask if I knew the company. Since I'd already interviewed, they mentioned another potential interview and that I'd hear back. A month later, I had another interview with a principal, and I got the job offer the very next day.
- What technology do you want in your classroom?
IT Support
I applied online and got a phone screening which went well. Then I was called in for an interview. I had to do a color personality test. The interview started late and was with two interviewers. It was unprofessional, and they asked me questions they clearly googled. They also focused a lot on coworker questions, and I didn't know what they wanted. They stared weirdly, and seemed lost. I got an offer that week for $10.50/hour, which I couldn't accept as I made more as an intern. They said that's their standard starting rate. They also said they don't send email offers, you just come in to sign a contract. I told them I needed to think about it and had less than 24 hours to decide. More unprofessionalism. I emailed rejecting the offer and got no response. I should have listened to the reviews.
- What could be the cause if a monitor is flashing, and what steps would you take?
- How would you handle a situation where a coworker is not working and appears to be idle?
Administrator
The interview process is designed to be fair and thorough, ensuring we find the right person for the job and that the employee can be successful and grow here. You should be ready and apply for a role that matches your skills, and always be truthful.
- Describe how you would manage a given scenario and what personal experiences would benefit the company.
- Confirm your ability to fulfill the responsibilities listed in the job description and explain how you would execute them.
