The HR rep didn't seem very engaged or put together for our chat, and I never heard back after that. Based on some other reviews I saw, it's probably a good thing I didn't get a callback. There are quite a few negative points mentioned in the reviews, and that tells you a lot.

I had two phone interviews, the first was with a recruiter who explained the company background and recent developments, and the second was with the two leads I'd be working with. Then I had an in-person interview with both leads, and a follow-up with the recruiter. The recruiter tried to get a salary estimate during the first call, which I usually prefer to defer until I have more technical details about the job. The phone interviews with the leads were informal, where I discussed my work experience and highlighted key projects. The in-person interview was also informal, with one lead discussing ongoing and prior projects and my fit for the role, while the other lead was more structured. The recruiter follow-up confirmed the salary range, which seemed fair based on my experience and research.

The on-site part was good, I got a gift bag. But after that, it was a nightmare. Unprofessional and ridiculous. The HR person seemed to leave, and the new guy was like a car salesman. They said I'd hear back in a day or two after the on-site. A week later, I followed up. Another week later, the hiring manager asked me to contact HR about references, but HR said not to contact them yet and asked if I was okay reporting to someone else. Four weeks after that, HR said the job went to someone else but to wait patiently. Another four weeks later, HR asked for references. I got them within two days. Three weeks after that, HR said the offer was approved and I asked about relocation. Two and a half weeks later, they answered my relo question, and I made a counter offer. Over a week later, they responded to my counter offer, and I declined because the process was ridiculous. The company might be good, but it's full of hypocrites.

I interviewed with the hiring manager, some team members, and HR. The team was great, but the recruiter was unprofessional and gave a bad impression. She was rude and demeaning during salary talks.
