First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hall Ambulance.
Admin Assistant
I interviewed with a panel of 3 people, and each of them asked me various questions. I also got to ask them questions and make notes on their answers and what the work environment is like.
- What experience do you have in this field?
EMT-B
I was interviewed by Sonya and it was a very interesting experience. She was very helpful with the way the company worked and where all their locations were. She told me about the benefits and how the hiring process works. She was very respectful and informative. I was super nervous but I believe it went well. I am looking forward to hopefully being called back for a second interview.
- Why do you want to work for Hall Ambulance?
EMT
I applied online and about three days later I got a call to come in for an interview. I had to bring in all my certifications and a certified H6 printout of my driving record. I had the first part of my interview with Ms. Sonya Johnson. I really enjoyed the interview; she asked me great questions and showed me all the areas where they operate and the station locations. She also explained the training process if I were to get hired, which is two months long. It's a great company, and I should expect a call back for my second interview. If I am offered a position at Hall Ambulance, I would definitely continue my EMS career with them. The pay and benefits are also great.
- What motivates you to pursue an EMT role at Hall Ambulance?
EMT-Basic
It was pretty fast and easy, but you first have to ace this personality quiz. Then, I had to pass a quick, timed written test. After that, I spoke with HR, then did a 12-hour ride-along. The final chat was with the Ambulance Division Supervisor, and it was super straightforward, basically asking about the ride-along and how I handled things. The whole thing took me about 3 months.
- Are you confident in your ability to manage the types of emergencies we encounter?
- What did you experience during the ride-along?
- How did you respond during the ride-along?
